Transfer admission to Gettysburg is competitive, and we look at a wide range of your college coursework and academic successes in making our admissions decisions.
The transfer admissions process differs from what you may have experienced applying to college directly from high school- the only academic record you had to show colleges at that time was your high school transcript and test scores.
As a transfer student, you are able to show college admissions offices your academic performance at the college level, in addition to your high school record.
It is also important for us to learn from your application how transferring to Gettysburg will allow you to reach your personal and academic goals.
The College is also very interested in individuals of character who will make positive contributions to the campus community and beyond. Involvement in extracurricular and community service activities, whether inside or outside of school, is positively considered in the admissions process.
