Legacy Weekend

Have a child who's thinking about college? Bring him or her to Legacy Weekend, held during Homecoming to give children of alumni a comprehensive introduction to the College. Students will attend workshops about the admissions process, the campus visit, and the application process. Alumni children will be the guests of Gettysburg College students who will take them to class, host them in the residence halls, and eat with them in the campus Dining Center. Parents are encouraged to attend parallel sessions, including a workshop about financial aid, the value of a liberal arts education, issues related to the transition to college, and an insider's look at what is happening at Gettysburg College.
