BOLD Council

The Burgians of the Last Decade Council (the Council), is the advisory board to the College and principle vehicle by which the interests of all young alumni are addressed.  Representing alumni of the last ten years, the Council is comprised of a broad range of individuals from varying backgrounds including: region, class year, involvement, undergraduate activity participation, and interests among other qualities.  The Council is comprised of twenty to twenty-five members - one representative from each of the ten classes plus ten to fifteen at large members.  From this group, an executive committee is elected consisting of the chair, vice-chair, secretary, and committee chairs.  Council members are assigned to be one of four committees: Advancement, Campus Engagement, Regional Events, and Career Development.

At the heart of the BOLD Council are the young alumni that serve on the Council.  These volunteers form the lifeblood of the Council's activities while the BOLD Council staff liaisons manage their efforts. The Council looks to young alumni to send feedback and provide suggestions, helping to ensure the BOLD program is representative of young alumni needs.
