Parents Fundraising Committee

How do you show support for your student's College experience without being labeled a "hovercraft" or "helicopter parent" and earning those dreaded filial eye-rolls or a "whatever?" Have years of encouragement to be involved in your student's education, to support the PTO, or be a Band Booster left you wondering "what's next?" We'd love for you to join us and volunteer your time and expertise to the Parents Fund Committee (PFC).

You'll strengthen your own ties to Gettysburg College and connect with a national network of other parents and families. The PFC is the fundraising branch of the Parents Advisory Board. We're ambassadors to the parent community, a vital link between families and the College, and we raise critical unrestricted funds to support all aspects of the College's operations-academic, student life, everything that made Gettysburg your student's College of choice.

As PFC volunteers, parents assist the College in reaching two major goals:

• Cultivating gifts to the Gettysburg Parents Fund
• Raising awareness of the importance of giving for the future development of the College
