Phonathon
Greetings from the...
The Gettysburg College Phonathon helps Gettysburg College reach our Gettysburg Fund goal of $2.75 million. The Phonathon is responsible for contributing approximately 20% of the money raised for the Gettysburg Fund. This contribution is integral in reaching our yearly goals with the Gettysburg Fund raising over $2.8 million last year. This one program helps the College support the unique programs, academic and faculty excellence, and student life we have all known to love.
Participation is another goal which Gettysburg continues to strive to increase each and every year. Every gift to the college, no matter the size, is greatly appreciated. Gifts in all sizes help the College keep the high standards of education and continually attract the brightest students. If each of Gettysburg's 25,000+ alumni contributed $20 it would total $500,000!
Gettysburg College Phonathon is a student run program that runs during the evening to reach a majority of Gettysburg's 25,000 plus alumni as well as parents and friends. The Phonathon reaches by far the most donors in terms of numbers, therefore strives to reconnect and build relationships with each person called in order to increase participation.
The Phonathon is under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Annual Giving Student Programs - Ryan Shaffer, in the Annual Giving Office which is a part of the College's Development and Alumni Relations Division. If you have any questions concerning the Phonathon program please feel free to email Angela Dolson at adolson@gettysburg.edu.
