Giving Levels
The Cupola Society and 1832 Society promote and recognize leadership giving to Gettysburg. Through their exemplary generosity, the Societies' members provide vital support for the College and set the standard for giving by others.
Cupola Society and 1832 Society members enjoy close contact with the President and the Board, take part in special programs and events held in their honor, and gain satisfaction from seeing their gifts advance the College's mission.
How to become a member
Anyone who makes a gift to Gettysburg College of at least $1,500 (in a fund year) qualifies for Cupola Society membership. Within the Society there are five levels of recognition, each named for a visionary leader from the College's past.
Anyone who includes the College in his/her estate plans or other gift of future provision is recognized as part of the 1832 Society.
A Cupola Society option for recent graduates
We invite young alumni in the early stages of their careers to join the Cupola Society Associates. Graduates from the past 15 years who make an annual gift of at least $100 for every year since they graduated automatically become Associates, and enjoy all the benefits of full Cupola Society membership.
