1832 Society

A very special group...

Gettysburg College was founded in 1832. People who included Gettysburg in their estate plans in the past foresaw a great future for the College. Today it is widely recognized as one of the finest liberal-arts colleges in the nation.

Members of The 1832 Society are people who have included Gettysburg College in their wills, estate plans, or any other gift of future provision. They likewise believe in a strong future for Gettysburg College.

Examples of future provisions include bequests, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder and lead trusts, retained life estates, gifts of life insurance, pooled income fund gifts, and beneficiary designations from retirement plans.

The Roster of Members of The 1832 Society is published in the fall of each year.

To register as a Member of The 1832 Society, or for more information about The Society, please contact the Office of Planned Giving. The toll-free number is 800-238-5528.
