The Gettysburg Fund
The Gettysburg Fund is a vital sustaining source of support for the College, providing essential funding to virtually every area of College operation.
Every dollar counts
The true cost to educate a student at Gettysburg exceeds what every student pays. This is true for those paying full tuition as well as those with financial aid. We make up the difference through financial contributions, and the Gettysburg Fund is our most important source of annual operating support. Because it is an annual fund, every dollar has a direct and immediate impact.
Gettysburg Fund goals
Each year we set two goals for the Gettysburg Fund-one is the amount we aim to raise, and the other is the percentage of alumni we expect to contribute. The two goals are important for Gettysburg's financial health and giving by alumni is a key factor in retaining our place among the top tier of the nation's liberal arts colleges.
Gifts made to the Gettysburg Fund by class members in a Reunion year also count toward the class fundraising goal. If you are in a Reunion year, click here to find out how much your class has raised.
