Distinguished Alumni Award

The highest award given by the Alumni Association, this award should recognize a lifetime of professional and/or humanitarian accomplishments. The alumni who receive it may also have been on the "cutting edge." Up to four may be given in any one year. At the suggestion of the Provost, past committees have stipulated that this award may not be granted in absentia. This award is given at Spring Honors Day, during Commencement Weekend, when student leaders are also recognized.

Meritorious Service Award

This award is given to recognize many years of service to Gettysburg College. Two awards can be given annually. this award is presented at the Collation Ceremony during Alumni College & Reunion Weekend in June.

Young Alumni Achievement-Career Development Award

Young alumni are defined as those who graduated not more than 15 years ago. Two awards can be given for career development of professional and/or humanitarian accomplishments. This award is presented at the Collation Ceremony during Alumni College and Reunion Weekend in June.

Young Alumni Achievement-Service Award

Young alumni are defined as those who graduated not more than 15 years ago. Two awards can be given for service to Gettysburg College. This award is presented at the Collation Ceremony during Alumni College and Reunion Weekend in June.
