The Division of Development, Alumni and Parent Relations (DAPR) engages current and prospective supporters of Gettysburg College to advance the mission of the College through philanthropic and financial support, volunteerism, and advocacy.


The Department of Advancement Systems is responsible for maintaining the data in Advance C/S, the College's alumni and donor relations database. 

The Office of Alumni Relations connects Gettysburgians to one another and their alma mater through organizing events, providing services of value, offering volunteer opportunities, and creating links to today’s students.

The Department of Annual Giving is responsible for the strategic planning and implementation of all fundraising for the Gettysburg Fund and Orange & Blue Club.

The Department of Donor Relations and Stewardship is responsible for the creation and management of a comprehensive stewardship program for Gettysburg College.

The Department of Foundation, Government and Faculty Grants helps Gettysburg College develop and strengthen partnerships that are beneficial to the advancement of education.

The Department of Major and Planned Giving works with individuals interested in supporting the College’s greatest endowment and capital initiatives.

The Office of Parent Relations seeks to keep parents and families connected to Gettysburg College by organizing events, providing regular communications, offering volunteer opportunities, and cultivating philanthropic support for the college.

The Department of Prospect Research collects and analyzes information to enable accurate and informed decision-making by the division of Development, Alumni and Parent Relations.
