Department of Justice grant to address sexual violence

Gettysburg College has received a grant from the Justice Department’s Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), one of 61 grants totaling $25 million to prevent instances of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking across the country, and help students who are victims of these crimes.

The Department of Foundation, Government, and Faculty Grants helps Gettysburg College develop and strengthen partnerships that are beneficial to the advancement of education.

The office seeks outside grant funding which may be in the form of scholarships, faculty research, building or conservation, equipment, and other programs that are consistent with the College's priorities.
