Gettysburg College received high ratings recently from news and higher education groups on everything from admission rate, academic quality, and alumni outcomes to the overall undergraduate experience.

The Chronicle of Higher Education
As one of the "2011 Great Colleges to Work For," Gettysburg was recognized for programs that encourage work-life balance, professional development, and employee wellness, as well as create a collaborative environment between faculty and staff.

FulbrightFulbright Program
For the second consecutive year, Gettysburg College has been named a top producer of students who receive grants from the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government's flagship international educational exchange program.

Princeton Review logoPrinceton Review
Gettysburg fared well in the Princeton Review's resources for college applicants. We were among schools in 2012's The Best 376 Colleges, which focuses on excellent academic programs and includes info from student surveys. For the second time, our commitment to sustainability earned us a place in the Guide to 311 Green Colleges, which was developed in partnership with the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).

Gettysburg was in the Top 50 national liberal arts colleges again, placing 47th this year. To be included, colleges must emphasize undergraduate education and award at least half of their degrees in the arts or sciences. President's National Service Honor Roll
The Corporation for National and Community Service named the College's Center for Public Service to the 2010 President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.

Founded in 1832, Gettysburg College is a highly selective four-year residential college of liberal arts and sciences with a strong academic tradition. Alumni include Rhodes Scholars, a Nobel laureate, and other distinguished scholars. The college enrolls 2,600 undergraduate students and is located on a 200-acre campus adjacent to the Gettysburg National Military Park in Pennsylvania.
