President Janet Morgan Riggs '77
In May 2011, the Gettysburg College Board of Trustees voted unanimously to enter the leadership phase of a comprehensive campaign, effective June 1, 2011.
The campaign will focus on enhancing students' learning experience in significant ways. Specifically, we will raise current and endowed funds to support:
- Scholarships, so that a Gettysburg education is accessible to all qualified students;
- New faculty positions and professional development of our current faculty;
- Learning experiences beyond the classroom that will teach students to translate their education into action;
- The infusion of a global focus into the student experience, and the renovation of Plank to support that focus;
- And, via the Gettysburg Fund, an exceptional learning experience for students year after year.
