Gettysburgians throughout the world stay connected to each other and the College by getting involved in one of our regional alumni clubs. The clubs host speakers, organize volunteer efforts, offer career networking programs, and sponsor a variety of social and cultural activities that bring alumni, parents, and friends from the region together. Gettysburg College’s Regional Alumni Clubs in various areas are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join them to help brainstorm, organize and/or host events for Gettysburg College alumni, parents, and friends.
No prior event-planning experience necessary! Qualified volunteers possess strong organizational skills and function well as part of a team.
1-3 planning meetings per year, typically over dinner, plus time spent organizing events during the course of the year (typically 1-2 events annually per volunteer).
Benefits include opportunities to connect (or reconnect) with other Gettysburgians in the enjoyable and culture-rich atmosphere of regional events.
