News Update: Schedule Changes

One game dropped, another added; Gettysburg still on to face Hopkins Friday

A lack of committment from their upperclassmen (including all three captains) caused Gettysburg to be swept yet again at their second and final showcase tournament two weeks ago, dropping all three games. The depleted roster played perhaps their most inspired hockey with a crew of mostly freshmen, but they were unable to overcome the experience and depth of Cleveland State, IUP, and UPJ. Their chance at redemption was lost however as a variety of issues on IUP's end led to last weekend's home game vs. IUP being cancelled. This weekend, the Bullets return to MDCHA action and face familiar foe Johns Hopkins on Friday night at Mimi DiPietro Arena in Baltimore.

Hopefully the Gettysburg players won't be full of excuses this time and will finally show up now that they are back to conference action.
