2011-12 Orange and Blue Cup Standings
Which team will win the title next?
How it Works:
The "Orange and Blue Cup" is a competition throughout the school year to see who has the best overall intramural team. In order for your team to stay eligible in this competition, you must keep the same team name for each league that you participate in for the entire year. Each team must also keep at least 25 percent of their roster the same for each league.
Points will be earned throughout the year, and will be accumulated after each intramural league is completed. Each team will have the opportunity to earn points in five different ways:
- Points awarded based on regular season win totals
- Points awarded based on playoff performance
- Points awarded based on forfeits
- Points awarded based on sportsmanship criteria
- Points awarded based on individual and/or team participation in Special Events
The winners will get their team name placed on a banner and will be placed inside the Dining Commons. The "Orange and Blue Cup" is a great way to build tradition within campus recreation, and it is a great addition to the program!
