Tips for using the Celebration Registration Tool
- Students must initiate the registration process.
- Set aside about 15 minutes to complete the form. Before starting, be sure to have the name of your mentor and if applicable, other students presenting with you, presentation title and a basic abstract.
- When you login to PeopleSoft, you will see the Celebration link at the end of the list on the left. Click to enter. **Click on the Celebration link beside your Semester's Schedule under " My Academics" and not the link in GBC menu's.
- You will be asked to read and agree to the terms and conditions for participation in Celebration. Please take note of the deadlines. No exceptions will be made.
- Read carefully! There are definitions and explanations for each selection you make on the form.
- You will notice tabs across the top of the page that read, "New Presentation", "Co-Presenter", "Inquiry", and "Supporting Student". The supporting student and co-presenter tabs will only appear if you have been invited to participate by another student.
- If you are participating in more than one presentation, you will notice a "1 of 2" or "2 of 2" in the upper right-hand corner of the form. By clicking the arrow, you can move back and forth between presentations.
- Use the magnifying glass to search for names, departments, classes, etc.
- The student who initiates a group project or a performance with supporting students will receive notification of the invitation being accepted or declined. In the event of a decline, that student will be automatically removed from the group.
- Creative activity presentations are scheduled a little differently than panels and posters. We will communicate with the mentors to determine appropriate scheduling.
- Your mentor and department administrative assistants will be able to view your project information but will not be permitted to add or edit any information.
Important note: ALL students participating in Celebration must go into the PeopleSoft Celebration Registration Tool and complete the appropriate form for their part in the presentation in order to be included in scheduling and the abstract book.
