1:00 p.m.
Spring Honors Day

Christ Chapel
Over 40 named awards will be presented to students, who were selected to receive these awards on the basis of their academic achievement and service to the campus community. Recipients and their families are notified in April by the Provost's Office. Everyone in the campus community is invited and encouraged to attend.

2:00 p.m.
Departmental Receptions

Various campus locations (Details to follow)
These popular receptions provide a festive occasion for faculty and graduates to affirm relationships built over the past four years and offer an opportunity for parents to "put a face to the name." Seniors, families and faculty are encouraged to attend.

3:15 p.m.
The Class of 2013, attired in regalia, meets to line up for the Baccalaureate processional. (Details)

4:00 p.m.

A long-standing tradition, this interfaith service gives seniors and their families a chance to gather together to worship, celebrate the tradition of the College, and reflect on the future. (Details)

Senior Class Graduation Party

Hosted by President Janet Morgan Riggs '77
College Union Building, First Floor
President Riggs invites the class and their families to this social event. (Details)

Post-Commencement Reception

Memorial Field Tents
Enjoy light refreshments and celebration with graduates, faculty, family and friends.

 

All graduates are expected to attend the commencement ceremonies. Those who wish to be excused from commencement should contact the Registrar's Office.

If a student does not meet the graduation requirements, he or she will be notified promptly by the Registrar before Commencement Day.
