Over 40 named awards will be presented to students, who were selected to receive these awards on the basis of their academic achievement and service to the campus community. Recipients and their families are notified in April by the Provost's Office. Everyone in the campus community is invited and encouraged to attend.

These popular receptions provide a festive occasion for faculty and graduates to affirm relationships built over the past four years and offer an opportunity for parents to "put a face to the name." Seniors, families, and faculty are encouraged to attend.

All graduates are expected to attend the commencement ceremonies. Those who wish to be excused from commencement should contact the Registrar's Office

If a student does not meet the graduation requirements, he or she will be notified promptly by the Registrar before Commencement Day.
