The DC Area Alumni Club of Gettysburg College invites you to join them for a professional networking reception on TUESDAY, MARCH 19, 2013. Whether you are exploring fields of potential interest or would just like to connect with other Gettysburg alumni, parents and friends in the area – as well as some current students from campus – this is a great opportunity to extend your professional network. Here are the details for the event, for which we expect 75-100 attendees:

WHEN: Tuesday, March 19, 6-8 p.m.

WHERE: 1111 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW - hosted by Fred Fielding ’61, Steve Mahinka (Parent ’10) and Eleanor Pelta (Parent ’12) at their law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

WHAT: Professional networking opportunity with fellow Gettysburgians, including several "featured” representatives from a range of graduation years and a variety of fields, including Capitol Hill, law, non-profit, health care, government services, public policy, finance and higher education. Brief (5 min.) remarks/introductions will be made at 6:30.

WHAT ELSE: The event will include hors d’oeuvres and beverages, as well as G-burg door prizes, and you are encouraged to bring business cards. Many current students will also be in attendance, along with Center for Career Development staff from the College.
