Dedication Day Ceremony, Rostrum, Soldiers' National Cemetery; free and open to the general public.  Speaker:  Stephen Lang, actor and playwright, known for his roles as General Pickett in the movie Gettysburg and Stonewall Jackson in Gods and Generals. U.S. Colored Troops Graveside Salute, Speaker:  Harriet Tubman as portrayed by Millicent Sparks, Soldiers' National Cemetery (or immediately following the Dedication Day Ceremony)

Lincoln Fellowship Luncheon, Gettysburg Hotel, [This luncheon is for Fellowship members only and pre-registration is required including a fee; no phone reservations accepted. Questions can be directed to Steve Herr at 717-334-5212. ]  Following lunch there will be a brief business meeting and program:  Speaker: Dr. Peter Carmichael, Professor of History and Director of the Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College, "Southern Honor and the Election of Abraham Lincoln."

50th Annual Robert Fortenbaugh Memorial Lecture, Majestic Theater. Speaker: Joan Waugh, Professor of History, UCLA, "'The Rebels Are Our Countrymen Again': U.S. Grant and the Meaning of Appomattox," and the Thirteenth Annual Michael Shaara Prize for Excellence in Civil War Fiction will be awarded at the Majestic Theater. Recipient: Robin Oliveira for her book, "My Name is Mary Sutter."
