As you complete your senior year of high school, mark your calendar with the following dates for your first year at Gettysburg:
- Saturday, April 20 - Get Acquainted Day - a special program for accepted and enrolled students and their families (invitations will be sent in late March)
- May 17 - Orientation, Residence Life, and Registrar's Office mailing sent from the Office of Student Activities & First-Year Programs
- May 22 - June 17 - Language Placement Exams (online)
- May 22 - June 17 - myFirstYear Dashboard (online orientation)
- June 24 - July 12 - Online Course Registration
- Mid July through Early August - First-Year Send Off events with alumni, current students, parents and first-year students and their families (held at the homes of parents and alumni)
- Early August - Room and roommate assignments released
- Wednesday, August 21 - Move-in day
- Wednesday, August 21 - Sunday, August 25 - Orientation
- Monday, August 26 - Classes begin
- October 25-27 - Family Weekend
- December 6 - Last day of fall semester classes
- December 8-10 and 12-14 - Final Examinations
- January 20 - Spring semester classes begin
