ASSESSMENT


Gettysburg College is a community dedicated to the education of undergraduate students. The College is deliberately constructed, with activities intentionally developed to produce a particular and unique outcome. These include the curricular program and a broad spectrum of co-curricular programs.

Student body


Enrollment by gender and year

In Fall 2009, total enrollment stabilized around 2,683; men and women each represent 50% of the student body. Close to 200 students study in off-campus programs.

Enrollment of international students and students of color

In Fall 2009, 11% of the student body is composed of students of color and international students.

Geographical distribution of domestic students

In Fall 2009, Gettysburg domestic students come from 45 states and the District of Columbia.

Geographical distribution of international students

In Fall 2009, 65 international students, representing 34 countries or territories, are enrolled at the College, bringing diverse cultures and perspectives to the classroom and campus community. The number of international students has been increasing.
