The Office of Experiential Education provides the foundation for innovative leadership, professional development, and ethical responsibility. The versatility of the program is demonstrated through our curriculum, the collaboration with faculty, and the ability to deliver trainings that begin in the classroom and reach international locations. The medium is experiential, the methodology is visionary (critical analysis & strategic planning), with the outcome of professional.  

ASCENT 2012: Your Pre-Orientation Experience

The GRAB and CPS student leaders welcome all first year students to Gettysburg College. We have developed a series of programs designed to introduce you to your peers, upper class students, and our surrounding area all prior to your orientation and classes.

The 2012 Expedition Institute: The Baltic Expedition
Learn about this unprecedented expeditionary leadership experience for five juniors who will develop the necessary professional, technical, and intellectual competencies required journey in sea kayaks from Stockholm, Sweden to Helsinki, Finland via the Baltic Sea and the Gulf of Finland.

This 250 mile self supported sea kayaking expedition is slated to launch June 2012 and conclude six weeks later in July.
