The Office of Experiential Education at Gettysburg College brings to life the challenges and rewards that thoughtful preparation, active leadership, & intentional learning can have on one's personal and professional identity.  In today's world, a commitment to the self, group, and institution through a shared vision is the catalyst to becoming a successful individual in an increasingly complex and globalized world.

Locations this year  include Ireland, Peru, Lake Tahoe, and Umbria, Italy . Students that register before January 27th receive 10% off the final cost.

   The 2012 Expedition Institute: The Faces of Scandinavia
Learn about the this unprecedented expeditionary leadership experience for 8 juniors who will develop the necessary professional, technical, and intellectual competencies required journey in sea kayaks from Helsinki, Finland to Stockholm Sweden via the Gulf of Finland and the Baltic Sea.

This 250 mile self supported sea kayaking expedition is slated to launch in late May 2012 and conclude six weeks later in July.
