Descriptions of all works by College Authors will be included in our institutional repository, The Cupola: Scholarship at Gettysburg College. When permitted by the publisher and/or copyright owner, the full text of your work will be included in The Cupola. If you do NOT wish for your work to be freely available online for scholarly use, please email us at cupola@gettysburg.edu.

Guidelines for inclusion in the College Author Reception

• The reception does not celebrate all forms of scholarship, creative performance, or authorship. Many excluded forms are, however, recognized as valuable, significant, and relevant to promotion and tenure and for inclusion in the Faculty Notebook.
  
• The reception includes work that is substantive, original, and in "published form." This implies a process of peer review and promulgation; there must be a published text, not simply a script read at a conference.
• The reception does not include book reviews, newspaper articles, manuscripts of conference presentations, posters, art works or music compositions. The reception reflects the use of the Library as a venue.
