Accessing Databases from Off-Campus
Off-campus access to most library databases is available to Gettysburg College students, faculty, and staff only. Persons not affiliated with Gettysburg College may access our databases from within the library only.
You must connect through the proxy server (a computer that is specially designed to authenticate users) to access library databases from off-campus. When you click a link for a database on the library website you will be prompted for your User Name and Password. Use the same ones you use to connect to the college network.
Note: You no longer need to configure your browser to use our electronic resources from off-campus. If you previously configured your browser to access electronic resources from off-campus, please follow these steps to remove that configuration.
