John Kovaleski was born small and naked in western New York State and grew up, more or less, where he was planted. He is the creator of the comic strip "Bo Nanas," syndicated by the fine folks at The Washington Post Writers Group. John's humorous scribbles have adorned magazines, newspapers, greeting cards, puzzles, billboards, and that new-fangled Internet. In 1999, he was nominated for a National Cartoonists Society Award for Advertising Illustration. In his spare time John practices the ukulele and does the occasional escape-artist trick. Yep, it's finally here hot off the presses the first Bo Nanas book "Monkey Meets World." You can now relive Bo's adventures with hand-biting dogs, over-eager smoke alarms, pet shop imprisonment and high-flying babies. And it's all encased in a shiny cover, with a foreword by Dan Piraro, the creator of the brilliant comic panel "Bizarro." |
