Return to Wonderland: 19th and Early 20th Century Children’s Literature

This exhibit highlights works of poetry, fantasy and adventure, and traditional tales. Included are Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll (1866), Mother Goose nursery rhymes illustrated by Kate Greenaway (1881), and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott (1869). Recent gifts to the children's literature collection in Special Collections are also featured.
