Music Library Association Atlantic Chapter Fall 2009 Meeting

We invite you to join us at our annual chapter meeting, which will take place at Gettysburg College on September 25-26, 2009.

Pre-Conference: Music in Libraries: Just the Basics
Half-Day Workshop, 9:00 am to 12:00 pm

The Atlantic Chapter of the Music Library Association (ATMLA) will host a pre-conference  "Music in Libraries:  Just the Basics" immediately preceding the 2009 ATMLA annual chapter meeting.  Concurrent workshops will be offered in Music Reference and Sound Recordings Cataloging, and will be led by practicing music librarians.

Pre-conference participants are invited to attend a free luncheon and the ATMLA chapter meeting immediately following the pre-conference.  The cost is included in the $12 registration fee ($10.00 early registration available).

The preconference is part of the Education Outreach Program (EOP) of the Music Library Association (MLA).  The EOP provides workshops on the basics of music librarianship to individuals working in or considering a career in libraries.  The EOP is sponsored by the Education Committee of the MLA and the Music OCLC Users Group (MOUG).
