Now Accepting Applications: Archivist

Gettysburg College’s Musselman Library invites applications for the position of Archivist. The Archivist is responsible for the daily operations of the Archives and will collaborate with our archival staff, conservator, librarians, interns, and student assistants to connect researchers with primary sources.

Our library is a dynamic organization where every staff member makes a difference. We serve the information needs of a residential campus of 2,600 students. Special Collections and College Archives includes historical manuscripts, institutional records, College photographs and documents, personal papers, oral histories, and rare books. Our archival staff provides research and instruction services, records management, and access to collections that document the history of the College as well as support a vibrant liberal arts curriculum.
