Back on the results page there were one or more options below each citation. These links will help you
get a hold of the full article, rather than just the summary available on the record page.
Full Text - If the article is available through the database that you are currently in, then you
can access it from this link. Many databases index more articles that they supply, so often you will have
to go elsewhere after finding the citation of an article you want. This database (Academic Search Premier)
makes articles available in either HTML (webpage) and/or PDF formats. HTML is useful if you want to read
the article online, however if you want to download or print the article PDF is recomended.
Journal Locator - If the article is not available in the database you are searching, you should first
check the Journal Locator to see if you can get
it somewhere else. The Journal Locator is used for searching for journal titles (not the article title) and will list
all of the sources we have available for that title and what years they cover. Unlike searching in MUSCAT for
a journal title, this also lists online sources rather than just the print versions.
Interlibrary Loan - If the library does not have access to the article in print or through any of our
databases, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan. Click on the Interlibrary Loan button to sign
in and it will automatically fill in all of the information on the request form. Not all databases have this
feature, but you can request any article by filling in the form manually. Electronically delivered articles
generally take 2 - 4 days to arrive and printed articles generally take around 5 days.
