Borrow Items from Other Libraries

Interlibrary Loan Account Log-In Search WorldCat

Interlibrary loan is a service that allows students, faculty, and staff to get materials from other libraries that aren't available at Gettysburg College. Books, book chapter scans, and journal articles can all be obtained through interlibrary loan. If you have an interlibrary loan question, please contact illform@gettysburg.edu.

Borrowing Books

  1. Search MUSCAT first. Musselman Library might have the book you want.
  2. If Musselman Library does not have your book, search WorldCat to find your book.
  3. Click the "Gett It!" button on the book's WorldCat page
  4. Click the blue "Request Item" button.
  5. Log in to your ILL account. Review the citation information that auto-filled on the request form. Include as much information as possible (ISBN or OCLC number is especially helpful).
  6. Click the Submit button.
