Request a Hold or Recall

You can place a hold:

• Online, click on "Request" while in the item's record in Muscat.
• In person, fill out a card at the Circulation desk.
• By phone, call the Circulation desk at 337-7024.

You can place a recall:

• In person, fill out a card at the Circulation desk.
• By phone, call the Circulation desk at 337-7024.
  

How it works:

• Hold, the item will be returned by the original due date. You will be notified by e-mail that the item is held at the Circulation desk. It will be on the hold shelf for 7 days under your name.
  
• Recall, the item can remain checked out by the original borrower for a minimun of two weeks. Upon return of the item you will be notified by e-mail that the item is held at the Circulation desk. It will be on the hold shelf for 7 days under your name.
