Book
Refers to a printed item that is complete in one part, for
example, a book or a pamphlet.
Journal
Refers to a printed item that is published serially, for
example, by month or by quarter. Journals may have a url as well. Some
disciplines' conference proceedings are the equivalent of a journal article,
computer science for example.
Multimedia
Refers to non-print publications. For example: painting,
sculpture, installation, musical composition, audiocassette, CD, film, DVD,
video, CD-Rom, filmstrip, map or chart.
Website
Refers to a publication made specifically designed to be viewed online and having
a url, universal (or uniform) resource locator
Reviews
Refers to a critique of a book or film
that (usually) has been recently published or released.
Professional Papers & Presentations
Refers to papers or other types of scholarly work presented
at conferences, symposiums, or professional meetings.
Professional Distinctions and Awards
Refers to distinctions, awards, honorary
memberships.
Professional Activities
Refers to projects and activities that enhance scholarship
or further advancement in a field.
Creative Activities, Accomplishments and Performances
Refers to artistic performances, readings, participation in
special events, or special accomplishments.
