Library and Information Literacy Instruction Request
Librarians at Musselman Library collaborate with faculty to help develop and inspire information literate students. Library and information literacy skill development is central to the mission of the Reference & Instruction Department.
The Library provides numerous instructional options for your courses. To request instruction, please complete the form below. A librarian will be in contact with you to confirm the date, time, and location of your instruction session and discuss plans for your class. We require that you schedule at least two weeks in advance, as we design each session to fit the needs of your class. Please try to schedule as early as possible! For more information, see our instruction policies.
We strongly recommend that you plan the session for when students are beginning to work on their research project. Note that the first three weeks of the semester might be too early, depending on your course schedule.
Your request will be sent to Ronalee Ciocco (filling in for Kerri Odess-Harnish, Instruction Coordinator, while she is on maternity leave). If you have questions, please contact Ronalee at rciocco@gettysburg.edu or 337-6994.
To schedule instruction in or use of Special Collections/Archives material, contact Karen Drickamer (kdrickam@gettysburg.edu or 337-7015) instead. Music faculty should contact Tim Sestrick (tsestric@gettysburg.edu or 337-7045.)
