Religious Inclusion Policy
Gettysburg College is committed to a diverse, equitable and inclusive community which includes affirming our support for individuals from all faiths and religious traditions. Members of our community have the right to observe religious holidays and engage in faith practices while minimizing conflict with academic, athletic, and work commitments. In December 2015, the Student Life Committee approved a new policy, the Religious Inclusion Policy. Please carefully review the information in the Religious Inclusion Policy and the Religious Observance Accommodation Form . In addition, members of our community are encouraged to review the College’s list of religious holidays and work to avoid scheduling campus-wide events which directly conflict with these holidays. Please contact the Office of Diversity and Inclusion or College Life if you have questions regarding the Religious Inclusion Policy.
