In a tradition dating back 40 years, faculty and staff will serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to students on Nov. 17. Watch videos from past dinners.


This year Dining Services purchased almost $400,000 in locally grown and processed foods. Other sustainable practices include:

  • a reusable mug program
  • reducing waste and water use
  • recycling cooking oil

Making Your Future Work

Thanks to a variety of new and existing programs offered by the Center for Career Development (CCD), students at Gettysburg College are able to explore and prepare for possible career paths as soon as they first set foot on campus.

Calling the Slots

The odds were certainly long that Stephen Morro '80 would become a top executive at the world's largest slot-machine manufacturer. But that's exactly what happened -- and it took a lot more than luck.

Reaching Forward

Plans for a new Center for Athletics, Recreation, and Fitness are getting closer to becoming reality. Architectural drawings have been completed for 120,000 square feet of new construction, and two major gifts have been received.
