'1000 to 1' promoted in the Record Herald

"1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story" was recently promoted in the Waynesboro, PA based Record Herald. In addition to sharing an overview of the story, the newspaper advertised the first public screening of the film, which took place on Sunday, March 2.

From the Record Herald:

Gettysburg College will host a screening of “1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story” at 3 p.m. March 2 in the Majestic Theatre. Weissman was an 18-year-old basketball star at the college when he suffered a horrifying stroke. Partially paralyzed, unable to play the game he loves and facing an uncertain future, Weissman overcomes enormous challenges in the inspirational story. David Henrie (“How I Met Your Mother,” “Wizards Of Waverly Place”) stars as Weissman. The film co-stars Golden Globe and Emmy winner Beau Bridges (“The Descendants”). It was shot on location at the college with the help of local residents, staff, and students.
