Students quoted in York Daily Record article on Biden's visit to York County

Four Gettysburg College students saw Vice President Joe Biden speak at West York High School in York. The York Daily Record included their reflections on working for the Obama campaign this year in an article published September 2.

From the Record:

Four Gettysburg College students -- Corinne Fucci, 20; James Lincoln, 19; Conor Brooks, 19 and Drew Ciminera, 19 -- were waiting in line to see Biden.

"We've been working with the Obama team for a few months now ... We're just really excited for this election, it's really kind of crucial, and we're just trying to get as many people out to vote (as possible)," Fucci said.

Lincoln wore an "Obama Surfs" T-shirt that he bought while in Hawaii a couple years ago. He laughed, saying that Biden was his "favorite vice president."

Brooks said that he, too, had enjoyed working with the campaign.

"I've never seen a group that are just as friendly, as easy to get along with and as motivated as this campaign has been so far," Brooks said.
