Variety announces cast update for film about Gettysburg College student

Variety announced in a September 16 article that Hannah Marks will appear in the upcoming film, 1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story. The film tells the story of Gettysburg College student Cory Weissman.

Hannah Marks ("Necessary Roughness") has been cast opposite David Henrie in indie inspirational project "1000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story."

Weissman, a gifted athlete who starred for his high school's basketball team, was felled by a stroke. His new dream is to simply appear in one more game at college and hold the ball in his hands one more time, even if it's just for a few seconds.

Marks will portray a college lacrosse player who eventually becomes Weissman's girlfriend.
