The Chicago Tribune ran an October 6 story on Michael Lerner's role in the upcoming movie to be filmed at Gettysburg College, 1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story. The movie will tell the story of Gettysburg College student Cory Weissman.

Michael Lerner has joined the cast of inspirational sports drama "1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story." Produced by Bruce Gordon and Bob Burris, who also wrote the script, "1,000 to 1: The Cory Weissman Story" will be directed by Michael Levine. Weissman, a gifted athlete who starred for his high school's basketball team, was felled by a stroke. Lerner, repped by Ben Kowalczyk of Abrams Artists, plays the psychiatrist who guided Weissman through his recovery.
