Susan Eisenhower, founding director and first president of the Eisenhower Institute at Gettysburg College, appeared on Sky News on November 5 to discuss her endorsement of President Barack Obama.
From Sky News:
I supported Barack Obama in 2008, and was very active in that campaign. As a matter of fact, at that time, I left the Republican party and became an Independent, and then actually spoke at the Democratic National Convention. But this year I thought I would wait until all the debates were over to really see how the candidates stacked up. I take being an Independent seriously.
