College's fall Sesquicentennial events to air on PCN for Gettysburg Address anniversary

The Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) will air several Gettysburg College events in honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War on Nov. 19. The schedule will be as follows:

11:00 a.m. - Emancipation Proclamation program with James McPherson

12:30 p.m. - Black Emancipation and the Civil War

1:35 p.m. - Jews and the Civil War

2:45 p.m. - Liberty and Union

PCN will also cover the anniversary of Lincoln's reading of the Gettysburg Address, including a lecture by Steven Speilberg on the evening of Nov. 19.
