Former presidential adviser to speak at Gettysburg College commencement
Political analyst, journalist and former White House adviser David Gergen has been scheduled to deliver Gettysburg College's commencement address in May, the college has announced.
"As a national liberal-arts college, we invite speakers to campus who will engage our community in thought-provoking issues of the day," said Jane North, executive vice president of Gettysburg College. "Mr. Gergen's impressive career has spanned decades, and he has worked with our nation's top leaders to shape critical pieces of public policy.
Gergen served as presidential adviser to Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton.
