Nicole McMullen '98 was announced as the new executive director of the Historical Society of Dauphin County in a Feb. 28 news article.

Nicole McMullen of York has been named executive director of the Historical Society of Dauphin County following an extensive search. A graduate of Gettysburg College, McMullen earned a master's degree in American studies from Penn State Harrisburg.

McMullen has considerable experience in museums and historical societies, having served since 1998 in positions in Cumberland, Lancaster and York counties, where she worked with objects and exhibits, archives, volunteers and museum docents. She was executive director of the Maui Historical Society, Wailuku, Hawaii, from 2009 to 2012.
