College's Civil War history featured in Gettysburg Times

The College's connection with the Battle of Gettysburg was featured in a June 29 Gettysburg Times article, just two days before the 150th anniversary of the battle.

From the Times:

A wounded soldier who was treated at what is now Gettysburg College's Pennsylvania Hall went on to become a conspirator with John Wilkes Booth, and was hanged after he stabbed Secretary of State William Seward.

That's just one of countless stories connected to the college campus's role in the Battle of Gettysburg.
