March 11 - All New England Jazz Festival, Silver Center, public performance 6 p.m. High school students from across New England are nominated by their orchestra directors and invited to participate in the daylong festival. Two select jazz ensembles will perform under the direction of PSU Professor Mark Stickney and guest conductor John W. Jones, professor of music at the Sunderman Conservatory of Music at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania. The PSU Jazz Ensemble opens the evening concert.
