Jack Perrine, Class of 1960, recalls when the swimming pool was in the basement of Weidensall Hall: "When a new record was set, the coach brought out his magic marker and camera and recorded the event. Then the card was placed on the record board. This 1957-58 medley relay team of Jack Perrine, Jules Prevost, Duke Wallace and John Applegate lowered the mark to 4:33.5 in the 20-yard pool. The coach was Gene Hummel (Class of 1949)." A Photo of the Day contest is under way, with an iPod touch as prize.
