The College's Center for Public Service and South Central Community Action Programs conducted a poverty simulation in the College Union Building Ballroom. Participants used mock cash, mock bills, and mock transportation vouchers to get an idea of the relentless pressures that face poor families. The event was one of several projects conducted Sept. 11 to mark President Riggs’ inauguration and the National Day of Service. Photo by Jason Minick
