Stephanie Bonnes, Class of 2008, shot this image in Grahamstown, South Africa. She writes: "In 2009, Aimee George '09, Anna Springer '09, Andrew Stinson '07 and I won a $10,000 grant from One Laptop Per Child to distribute over 100 child-friendly laptops to students. The four of us studied abroad in South Africa while at Gettysburg and felt that Gettysburg and Grahamstown had a special connection, which, along with the support Gettysburg gave us for this project, led us to name our team G-Tech (Gettysburg-Grahamstown Together Empowering Children) and a partnership between the two university towns grew."
